The building's history comes alive, though
The modern amenities were a pleasant surprise. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated, and the breakfast options are fantastic. The only drawback was the hot water supply, which they are working to improve. It was a lovely stay.

Attentive staff and nice location to the garden, everything was modern. The room was both neat and fantastic with huge attention and a large bathroom plus a travel cot. I had brilliant food for breakfast with all food locally sourced. No reason to complain, enjoyed this place and recommend.

Couples seeking culinary adventure
We had an fabulous time here,, especially when they were very good too adjust the 10-course tasting menu for my wife's dietary restrictions. The staff treated us like royalty,, even helping us plan our hikes for the next day with perfect timing and suggestions.
It wasn't the cheapest meal I've had, but it was worth every penny.

We stayed in the Superior Double or Twin Room with Garden View. The room was spacious and clean, with a modern bathroom that had a great shower. It was comfortable and decorated nicely. The garden view was a nice touch. It was like a little slice of luxury, but I could've used a bit more convenient dining options nearby.

I chose to stay and felt welcomed. The staff were great, giving advice on local hikes. I had an amazing breakfast. The place had a beautiful design that enhanced my experience. I was actually surprised by the attention to detail throughout.
There were limited nearby dining options for those late-night cravings. I had to plan meals carefully due to the remoteness.
